Application Packs describe how a target system implements it
Application Packs connect those business capabilities to the applications customers actually run. They provide target-specific bindings, interfaces, identity mappings, and implementation details.
Why keep them separate?
Separating the layers allows business semantics to stay stable while application implementations evolve independently. It also supports a stable Autonomy platform where most expansion happens through Packs rather than continual core changes.
